Our Leadership Team

Mrs Thornton is our Academy Principal. She is responsible for the general strategic decisions and improvement of our school, alongside Governance, Finance, Health and Safety, Curriculum Design, Standards and Outcomes. She also supports other local schools and is a School Improvement Partner for Oldham Local Authority. 

Mr Roach is our Academy Vice Principal. He is responsible for the general day to day operational running of the school, the implementation of the behaviour and assessment policies. He is also a writing moderator both for South Pennine Academies and also for Oldham Local Authority. 

Mrs Buckley is our Assistant Principal. She is the leader of Inclusion and also our Academy SENCO and takes responsibility in teaching, learning and assessment for our Inclusion Base. 

Mr Chadderton is also an Assistant Principal. He leads maths and also our Teaching and Learning Strategy and development for all staff. 

Mrs Atkinson is our Early Years Leader. She is responsible for the general operations and teaching and learning in Nursery and Reception. She also leads Early Reading and our Parent Enrichment Programme, Mrs Atkinson is also the EYFS Network leader for South Pennine Academies.
